Frequently Asked Questions
I work with women of all ages and from all backgrounds seeking to live more authentic connected lives. I welcome diversity and value what each has to offer.
First and foremost, time and attention is paid to creating a warm, welcoming, ‘safe’ space. We’ll always have some silence at the beginning of the sessions to ‘arrive’ in the room, and we’ll always have a check-in. I draw on a variety of teachings, techniques and methods to sensitively deepen into our purpose together and each person’s way is included and respected. The workshops I offer have a different focus and the general outline is included on the specific pages. I mostly work with groups of between six and ten people.
A well held group is a powerful resource for members to draw on and some of the reasons for this include: opportunities for insightful discussion, learning from each other’s stories, good quality feedback, shared laughter and fun, encouragement and new support networks that may last a lifetime. Significantly there’s also the opportunity to be respectfully witnessed, to be seen and to feel heard, an experience most of us have not benefited enough from.
Typically, women come to me at a time in their lives when they need to create change, or they’re feeling an ‘emptiness’ that doesn’t go away, or sometimes when a painful life event had shocked them into seeking a new direction. Many come too because they want to explore their direct experience as women in a setting designed to specifically support this. By the end of our time together women frequently tell me they feel connected to their creativity and courage again, they feel better able to challenge people and circumstances which no longer serve them, they have more clarity about their purpose and how to bring possibility and action together, and they feel their feminine energy activated and flowing in a new way.
Mary Oliver, a poet I love says, ‘Are you breathing just a little and calling it a life?’ Personal inner work matters because it enriches and anchors us in our lives. It enables us make sense of our ‘stories’ and patterns of behaviour, it facilitates healing and self-acceptance, connects us more strongly to what we value, supports healthy decision-making and improves our emotional literacy. Personal transformation also effects lasting social change.
These are some of the reasons to engage with yourself in this way. If any of them speak to you, please get in touch.
Words are slippery and this one often needs some exploration. We’re living in a time where spirituality is more open and available than ever before. The expression of our connection to the wonder and energy of life belongs to everyone now, and not only to a privileged few. I believe when anyone starts to ask meaningful questions about what’s happening in their life and to explore them with intention, their spiritual journey has begun.

Please refer to each workshop page separately.
I endeavour to use spaces in central Bristol (including on occasions people’s homes). Our venue will depend on the size of the group and what will serve us best.
